Our Sunday School, which is known as C4K (Carrubbers for Kids), takes place every Sunday during the morning service. Our morning services start with everyone in the service together. Around 15 minutes into the service the young people are prayed for and sent out to their ministries. At the end of the service the children can be collected from their C4K room.
We run a separate pre-school class and a primary school class.
The primary aged class is for children aged between 5 and 11 years old. They spend some time singing, playing and learning together, then are allocated by their age into smaller groups, where they can further discuss and apply the teaching. Teaching material has the gospel message at its heart and encourages the children to explore the Old and New Testament and to understand how it can be applied to their lives. All teachers and helpers are disclosed with Disclosure Scotland and go through an application process prior to teaching or helping in C4K. Our desire is to share the gospel with those who do not know Christ and to disciple and encourage those who do in their walk with the Lord.
The pre-school class is for three and four year old children and has a similar program with more time to play built in!
If it is your child's first time at C4K please go with them to the C4K room when the children are asked to leave the service where you can meet the volunteers and ensure the paperwork is fillied in.
Visitors and new families can register their child for C4K by using this QR code. We look forward to welcoming your child to C4K!
C4K (Sunday School) is organised by Gill Earl & Jennifer Atkinson and overseen by Drummond Fyall.
