Hosting information about the church and what those who attend believe, an index of the ministries and missionaries, and calendars detailing what's on when. Registered members can use numerous tools to help communicate and plan including an address book, rotas, songs database, service planner and accommodation forum. The website is also responsible for the email system including Firstname.Lastname@carrubbers.org contact addresses for the membership, and ministryname@teams.carrubbers.org mailing lists for groups.

Carrubbers has one of the oldest established church websites in the UK, and one of the largest in Europe.

In a sense, since you are currently experiencing the end result of the website ministry, there is little that needs said! However, it is perhaps worth mentioning that many many hours of work goes into the site every week, to keep things functioning, fixing errors, combatting bugs and even occasional hackers (we've had a few attempts over the years - some successful!)

It is not necessary to be a computer genius to get involved in this ministry. There are plenty of opportunities for those wanting to learn, and willing to do a little bit of research. If you feel God is calling you to use your skills in a high-tech ministry, get in touch.
